Jimminy Christmas!

...and what a Christmas it was! I had such a great time. We had a full house. Richard's Dad, brother Dan, brother Adam, and the boys Zachary and Joshua, all came together to spoil each other and to eat A LOT! As usual, we had lots of good laughs...

We enjoyed making cinammon and apple sauce decorations a few weeks before Christmas. The boys loved it bc it reminded them of poo. Why do kids love the idea of poo and farts so much?

They turned out better than any other time I've done them, and they smelled so good!

Josh and I did some baking too. We usually bake cupcakes

AND THE BIG DAY! Christmas morning started VERY early! There is no such thing as sleeping past 7 am when the boys are here, especially on Christmas am. So we all got up and watched as they tore open their hoards of presents.

It was even too early for Lexi, too much excitement for that hour

Maya's just going along with it, she kept herself busy by tearing up paper

After a gigantic breakfast, it was time to get started on the turkey...
Rich thought it would be a great idea to pull down my pants while I was cooking, knowing full well I wouldn't pick them up while handling food...

Carving the turkey, Lexi supervising

Dan is forever providing comic relief :-)

I don't know this man, he wandered in off the street asking for food...

...So we invited him for dinner

There was a whole lotta Rock Band going on! Even Zach got a chance to play the drums

It was Zach's B-day on the 26th...This is his polite smile when he received crackers.
He wasn't falling for this joke again...
Here's the real smile when he realized what was really in the box!
As you can see, we were all pooped from all the food, cleaning and the excitement of Christmas!
Last bit of fun to wrap up the night!
Can't wait til next time :) xox
