Christmas

Christmas was awesome!!! Tons of food and great company!

This was the chaos after opening up all of the gifts Xmas a.m. 

...but we were all smiles

...except for Dan and his dog Patch (to whom I coined the name 'Patches of Blood'). Patch is a pretty dominant female who decided to snack on Lexi's ear, leaving lots of blood everywhere. Everything was ok but we kept them separate for the rest of the weekend.

Adam is an awesome Uncle and was a HUGE help all day. He's great with the boys, helped me clean, and even signed himself up for the job of Toy Assembler. He even scored bonus points for complimenting my cooking all day! 

It was nice to see Grampy too. He barely made a mess! ;-)

Mom telling Nanny every way to wear her scarf. There are 15. True story.

I loved seeing Jacob and my Nan having fun together. Jacob says "Ta" all the time now.

 

...and the worst part of Christmas... Rich had gastro! He was pretty much out of commission by early afternoon. He joined us for dinner but couldn't eat. He was good by the next morning but the poor guy suffered! 

Then I got hit with it just as I was going to bed. I thought I was having contractions but nope.... I was ok by the morning. There were no other Christmas casualties...

The whole gang went to play a few games of bowling...We had lots of fun...

Ho Ho Ho!

I'm totally ready for Christmas and I'm SO excited!

I'm going to have a quick nap when I get home from work, then I'm going to bake some pies and prep the food for tomorrow a.m.

Rich's family will be in tonight, and my family will be here tomorrow.

I can't wait to give everyone their gifts and do all of our new Christmas traditions. I've barely been able to sleep for the past three days from all the excitement!

 Tonight will be lots of yummy appetizers while we play a mean game of Time's Up. Please play this hilarious game if you ever get the chance! Then it's Rock Band (I'll probably be asleep by then). I promise to post lots of pics!!!

Brotherly Love

First Haircut

Baby J had his first haircut this weekend. I've trimmed his hair at home, unfortunately making him look like Friar Tuck. I was going to let his hair grow wild but then thought that he looked a little neglected. :-) (ya right!)

How did it go? It went fabulously! He was so happy to sit in a car to watch a car movie. This of course further reinforced his obsession with cars.

He never said boo even when she took out the clippers and buzzed the back of his head.

Phew! I'm so glad it went well! It must be really tough when kids freak around scissors!!!

Aside from that, I'm doing pregnificent!



Sunday Fun

Sunday we had fun at Le Petit Gym and we picked up some groceries afterward.

Jacob munched away on an apple while we shopped. This is the first time that I've given him an apple whole. I always cut it up for him but he surprised me by eating it this way. I love being surprised by what he's able to do. I'm the one that has to catch up to his development. It's fun to see how fast he learns and wants to be independent.

Back to work, I'm very happy about my new office. It's definetely quieter now that I'm away from sharing an office with my ultra loud coworker.  I tried to sneak my lunch alone in my office today, only to have everyone pile in. There's no escape here.
In other baby news, Baby Toosie Rollette is moving around like crazy! I'm very excited. 

Drumroll...

Busy bees as usual, my pregnancy is going super well. I have a little bit of insomnia and headaches but aside from that, its been smooth sailing.

I must say there's never a dull moment with Jacob in my life! We enrolled him in Le Petit Gym. He had his second session, and he's such a Superstar. He really enjoys every new experience and loves life!

Super Duper Speedy Post

I'm sneaking a little post at work... I deserve a break, I've been working straight since I walked in this morning. One day I will write about a day in the life of me. I'm usually in bed by 9:30 p.m. now. I am pooped!

I finally got a holiday after a crazy summer at work. We went away camping for a week during the hottest week of the summer. We still had a great time. We toughed it out in the air conditioned trailer. hehe More pics and details to follow...

Super duper special news... Drumroll.... I'M PREGGARS! Yippeeeee! Yep, we were pleasantly shocked too. :-)
